| When I start the program the notepad has started wrapping text. How do I stop this? | What happens is when you install a program that uses and older version of the richtxt32.ocx and riched32.dll libraries my program begins wrapping text because in older versions there was no option to not wrap text. To fix this you should uninstall your current install of EasyASP (you won't loose settings don't worry), and then go into the "c:\windows\system" or "c:\winnt\system32" directory and delete richtxt32.dll and riched32.dll and then reinstall the program and it should be fine. |
| Is there a way to open a file from the command line? All I get is the default template! | As of this version of the program you can now open files from the command line and also register EasyASP to open them if you double click on a file in explorer. |

| Is there an easy way to see if I need to upgrade? | Yes. in the last 2 versions of the program there was a direct update feature. All you need to do is click the menu item on your start menu that says Update EasyASP while you are connected to the internet and it will go out and see if you have the current version and if not it will download and install the current version from the site you choose. |
| There are options that I want that are not in the program. Is there any way to ask for them? | Yes. EasyASP is a program for the users. I have always tried to add the functionality that users are asking for. All you need to do is email me at ebanker@gmu.edu with your idea or suggestion and I will add it to the list of things to do for the next version. Please note that Registered users ideas always come first. |
